The Briar Rose Bed & Breakfast

The Briar Rose is a new bed & breakfast, but the house was built in 1887, and was originally a tourist home.  We are located right across from the Reedsville Youth Park.  We are close to many area attractions such as the Belleville Farmer's Market, Brookemere Winery, The Big Valley Antiques and Dairyland Antiques.

All the rooms have air-conditioning, ceiling fans, TVs with DVD/VCRs.  We have a movie collection of over 800 movies, guests receive complimentary snacks and beverages.

Guests have use of our outdoor hot tub.  They receive a fantastic breakfast, either gourmet style or country style.  We make homemade baked goods, and recipes such as stuffed crepes, or homemade Belgian Waffles.

Guests can relax on the front porch and watch the Amish buggies go by or read a book on our outdoor deck.  They can use the refrigerator and microwave for late night snacking, and listen to the jukebox or watch TV on our flat screen TV.  We have a huge selection of games.  Guests can play ping pong either inside or outside.  The french doors in our game room lead to our outdoor deck and hot tub.  It is decorated with our collection 70's and 80's memorabilia.

Every guest staying with us gets to take home a photo of them at The Briar Rose, to keep as a memento of their trip.  It is our way of saying thank you.

The only restrictions are children under the age of 13 are not permitted and smoking is permitted outdoors only.
 

Our "Gazebo Room" is very unique, it has a corner Jacuzzi tub, which sits inside a "Gazebo", there is a mural of a waterfall, that gives the effect of being outside.  The room is tastefully decorated, and has a private balcony.
 

We have 2 other guest rooms which have a shared bathroom.

Special Occasions We can also customize your stay for any special occasion, such as your wedding night, anniversary or Valentine's Day.
	Mural's By Local Artist Not only is Lisa a great hostess, and wonderful decorator she is also a talented Artist.  She decided to do a mural of Reedsville on the kitchen walls.  The picture on the left is of The Briar Rose, she has also painted The Three Bride Stables, Brindel's Hardware and Billets' Market.
Custom Painting by Lisa Everetts A new service is being offered at The Briar Rose, Lisa can take photos of people’s homes, or favorite place, and turn it into a painting – the perfect Christmas gift for that special someone on your list. Some of Lisa’s artwork was on display at The Logan House in Burnham she is a truly gifted artist!
