 2009 FALL HARVESTFEST APPLICATION

HELD THE FIRST FULL WEEKEND IN OCTOBER ON FRIDAY, 12:00 NOON - 9:00 pm, and SATURDAY 9:00 am TO 5:00 pm.

The Show is held indoors in a large, heated, well lighted building at the MIFFLIN COUNTY YOUTH PARK, in REEDSVILLE, PENNSYLVANIA. Two-day event highlights include quality exhibits, the best in foods, good entertainment and crafting skills. We work hard to make each year better.

Space is very limited and sells out months before Harvestfest.  We recommend you send this application and payment as soon as possible.  (Send a deposit of $50.00 (non-refundable) and then you must pay the balance in full by July 31st or reservations will not be held. Confirmation of acceptance or refund will be sent by return mail or emailed.

EACH INSIDE SPACE MEASURES 10 X 10 FT. OUTSIDE SPACES MAY VARY

HARVESTFEST CONTRACT AND REGULATIONS

  1. To maintain variety within the show, if you have not been an exhibitor or have changed your craft or product, PHOTOS ARE REQUIRED AND MUST INCLUDE AND ARE LIMITED TO WHAT YOU ARE CONTRACTING TO EXHIBIT.  Items not represented as described in contract are not acceptable in the show.

  2. Sound devices, electronics, and visual equipment are prohibited without written permission.

  3. Booths must be attended Friday 12:00 noon to 9:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

  4. Sponsors will engage security during full course of show, but assumes no responsibility for loss or damage by any cause.  Merchandise too valuable to be left unattended should be removed or insured by the exhibitor.

  5. Because food is being served and eaten inside the building it is unlawful to bring pets inside.

  6. Displays may be set up between 9:00 am and 10:00 pm on Thursday, the day before the show, or Friday from 8:00 am until 11:00 am, the first day of the show, and must remain in place until the close of the show on Saturday.  Personnel should be limited to exhibitors, family or employees.  Exhibitors are responsible for their displays and removal of all trash produced by said exhibition.  Display tables are not provided.  Electrical supply is 110 volts inside, 110 or 220 volts outside.  Exhibitor must supply his or her own extension cords.  Water is available to food vendors.

  7. Booth must be decorated in Harvestfest theme (example: use of pumpkins, fall flowers, etc.)  Tables must be draped to the floor (display purposes underneath table is exempt).  Back of booth must be draped.  NO CANOPY TENTS INSIDE, PLEASE.  Independent judging will be held on Friday near 12:00 noon for the best decorated booths in the fall harvest theme.  $75.00 for first, $50.00 for second, and $25.00 for third.  Prize money will be paid by check.

  8. GENERAL - All matters not covered by these regulations are subject to the decision of the sponsor.  Any violation of these regulations shall, at the option of the sponsor, annul the lease to occupy space and the exhibitor shall forfeit all monies that have been paid.  Signature on application and payment of fees assume the regulations as binding by sponsor and exhibitor.

  9. Please have your business name visible on the front of your booth.

  10. ADVANCE NOTICE IS REQUIRED FOR ANY DIFFERENCES TO THESE REGULATIONS AND MAY REQUIRE ADDITIONAL EXPENSE TO THE EXHIBITOR.  CHANGES ARE TO BE WRITTEN AND SIGNED.
